I'm on the end of a row and have absolutely no problem with any of the above, even tho it means I literally have to stand up and sit back down again about 20 to 30 times a game. Needs must. Goes with the turf. Plus it's about the only form of exercise I get nowadays. I consider it a form of chair yoga. Besides, it means nobody's counting too closely when I get up to go to the loo 5 times a game
This.

If people want to have a comfy kip they can find a park bench somewhere.

Not really, if you actually read what I wrote.

MY situation (2 people having the occasional puff of a vape) doesn't bother ME at all.

@Hovegull 's situation (4 people immediately in front of them, chain-vaping all game) WOULD bother me, and I WOULD report it.

You can’t expect anyone to actually read anything, this is the internet. Brexxxxxxxxit.

Just checked in on my oldest west lower seats and it would appear my old neighbour who thinks everyone and thing is a caaaaaaant is still very much active, going by the mosaic of seats available around him

We had a newbie behind us in the North middle aged fella turned up in his bobble hat and replica shirt a couple of seasons ago, anyhow his first game there he started tapping people on the back asking them to sit down 🤣 He didn’t last long.

Since the East Upper opened a group of us had perfect back row seats in E3E.
Few years ago PBOBE decided he could cram in a few more seats in the block. Firstly he shrunk the gap between seats and then added seats behind us. Look up E3E Row W seats 153 to 158
The reason these seats were omited when the Amex was built is because there was no leg room.
So the most annoying neighbour was the tall people in the seat behind whose knees were in our backs all game. We all moved quickly next season.

Unbelievably, by far the worst/most annoying person in N1G is a 9 year old boy who appears to come with his grandfather, and spends most of each match hurling random foul abuse at the players. He also spent one match this season repeatedly shouting "there's only one Neal Maupay" despite him neither playing nor having anything to do with either club. Absolute bellend.

Withdean area
One of my all-time favourites was on a still tranquil summer's day at Withdean. Everybody just nodding off in the warm sunshine in the South Stand. Enter Liam Dickinson on about 70 minutes. Fannies around ineffectually for the next 10 minutes. At which point a lone voice (you know who you are) bellows out: 'GET IN THE GAME WILKINSON!' :lolol:

I did the same to Gavin Hoyte from the Withdean south stand. Ten minutes into a game it was clear that yet again he was half asleep, as some very average opposition winger was catching him out of position every time. Bellowing:

“WAKE UP HOYTE FOR F@CKS SAKE”.

It made no difference. But made my son laugh.

I stand directly in front of Ronald 😆
The annoying group of lads that turned up last season seem to have dispersed after a few words..

Unless he is particularly lopsided surely they would have to charge him for three seats as the "overspill" would be the same either side of him, unless he was seated at the end of a row as he would only be encroaching into one other seat
On those occasions my son can't make it and nobody else can, I have the opposite issue of either sitting in my single seat or spreading across two, with a buttock on each seat but if I do that it feels like I'm being rude to the person next to me. It's not particularly comfortable either.

I think we may sit quite near one another

I've just remembered an annoying neighbour a few rows in front, end of row, up and down like a whore's drawers all game.

Bloke in the row in front of us dumps 2 boys (not brothers) aged about 8-10 on their own and sits about 10 rows back with the kids father.
annoying kids !!!!!!!
I’ve done this a couple of times with my son and nephew but I don’t think this is us, we are only a row or so behind and pretty close, you’d know if it was me as I have dazzling good looks.

What I’m getting from this thread is the amount of foul mouthed kids that go with adults.
I think one mentioned on here stood behind me at Chelsea this season, only about 13 but the anger and the leg breaking shouts were tedious and never ending.
He was with I assume his mother and (I’m generalising now) she didn’t fit the chavvy stereotype and on appearance looked like someone that wouldn’t allow it, therefore there’s got to be a reason for it, Tourette’s or something?
Anyway as I’m a borderline alcoholic who hadn’t had a drink that night, I therefore was a coward and I just kept my mouth shut and put up with it for 90 minutes.

Edit: Thread not Threat

Lad next to us is maybe 13 or 14 and goes with his dad and two sisters. Rarely gets rebuked for some of the stuff he says. Weirdly, he keeps his mouth shut when my wife sits next him.
