...when you were a kid?

And how many of us are now 'living the dream...?' ???

I wanted to be a professional football player (goalkeeper preferably), and no I'm not (of course, the fact that I'm not actually that good at football may be partly to blame).

I also had dreams of being the lead singer in a rock band, but I can't actually carry a tune in a bucket (spotting a pattern here, lol?).

If you are local and free Saturdays may still be worth giving DW a call.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
A teacher read a poem of mine about ecological torture and the distress of modern air and decided i should be an poet or a dabber of the width of my emotions on papyrus with feathered dread. I listened, for some reason, and have always thought i could give up administration and unemployment and dole-hunting and silent street sweats to deliver a tome. Tome to you, as the Chuckle Brothers would literarily pun.
There's always something to blame for why i haven't and i sometimes think of things to reason why i never will. Mostly, i believe, i'll one day be a postman or a sour, hurtful binman who remains blackbagophobic for life.

I wanted to be a ballet dancer from the waist down and a dalek from the waist up. And an AK47 at weekends.

Sadly I failed at the first two jobs, and was fired from the third.

I wanted to be a singer in a band or an outside broadcast cameraman

The first i achieved between the age of 17-23, but got nowhere, just played weddings etc doing 60's covers

The second i never achieved but have been a Film Projectionist for 30 years, so am behind a camera of sorts.

But more importantly i am extremely happy with what i have achieved, albeit not very much.

You'd have made more as a pilot for a sitcom or a mini series. Those commericals only usually last 30 seconds.
Where on EARTH have you been? We missed you. :safeway2: :safeway2:
