Today I was mainly interviewing people for the post of Senior Performance Management Officer.

If one of them happened to be a NSC poster, would that sway your decision?

Checked emails and NSC, Played COD 4 on line, had a lovely Tikka sandwich, , watched Quadrophenia and then watched The Godfather. Technically it's not much of a Job but they are still paying me so wtf!

Today I spent 5 hours at an old thatched pub with 40 collegues. Unfortunately, that was because it was burning down.

Yesterday, I spent best part of 5 hours on the motorway, cutting people out of cars and lorries following a multiple collision in the fog. (Example of handiwork below).

Tomorrow is a full day in the Breathing Apparatus chambers, practicing 'House Fire' search & rescues.

This morning I went to a house and sold someone a lot of Travertine flooring. This afternoon I had a bonfire which was so big I took the opportunity to put a load of plastic on it that had been laying around for a while.

i woke up around 10, ate a slice of pizza and then proceeded to spend the next 3 hours playing the sims while devouring a bag of cocktail sausages

i then attended a lecture around 1.15, after which i wandered into town and spent about two hours reading the magazines in smiths, and now i am checking nsc before playing some more sims and possibly heading to the student bar for £1.30 strongbow and the chance to have the piss taken out of me by some swindon and yeovil fans

Processed a payroll for 300 people, ran the reports and sent the file to the bank.

Went to the pub for lunch and then came back to start the job of sticking the security payslips together.

Payday is next week, but I start on March tomorrow afternoon!

i rolled into the office this morning to find a real humdinger of a slanging match going on between two employees of mine. one is now not an employee. the other has spent the rest of the morning grovelling like a weiner.

i then gave the go ahead and signed on the dotted line to build a new factory, will be our biggest one yet. so very excited about this, no i get to pick out and purchase all the shiny new machinery, nothing like a big ole vibrating conveyor.

got fed up then so came home and took mrs starry and all the children out for lunch. have played the wii with the oldest two and discussed where they might like to live and stuff.

now i am waiting for my oldest daughter to be ready, we are going for a 6 mile run, i will run, she will ride her pony.

If you want a Business Continuity/DR manager, I am very good!!!!!

Today I fought my way up to City Road from London Bridge!

I cleared down an iSeries system and set up four LPAR's on said machine for some customers I have coming in to test their systems.

I signed on and checked messages on an IBM Mainframe we have which was complaining about something!

I rewrote some recovery procedures and had a chat with a couple of people who had completely messed up their systems.

Actually a pretty good day all in all!

i got up full of hope for the new day and the prospect of a fine future as i seek to further my career in IT.

i spent the morning looking at t'internet and online gaming, with lunch at 13:30. I then briefly rechecked t'internet forums, before starting some self studying around 16:30. I fell asleep after about 20 minutes. This led to a bout of gloom as i considered if my chosen career path is really right for me. I then spent about half an hour looking at jobs that expect you know 8 different coding languages, 2 database, 3 types of UNIX and half a dozen applications i've never heard, but pay less than a security guard. I called time on that before i slashed my wrists and returned to general t'internet browsing.

Having a bit of a break from work at the moment, spent the morning pottering around home attending to some paperwork, drinking endless cups of tea and posting occasionally on NSC. Had some lunch then spent the afternoon in the gym, followed by a steam bath and sauna, very relaxing. After that to Sainsbury and home again, just had my tea and am now going to settle down and watch Liverboob being given a footballing lesson by Inter.

Sold cruises to old people.

Should you really be selling Cruise Missiles to old people is that not a bit irresponsible?

Today I spent many hours trying to fix some problem on a customers auditing system in snowy Istanbul, considering the urgency they do seem rather laid back and I did partake in a kebab in the staff canteen at lunch no beer thou!
