The FA doesn't give a shit about any club outside the Premiershit-unless that club has done something wrong, then they jump all over them, docking points for financial problems, etc.

This must surely be the answer. The fact that there was no points deduction suggests that the FA believe that their actions did not disadvantage any of their opponents. This, sadly, will include us.
