Simple question really. If you are watching it up the pub and don't have a choice, vote for the side you would prefer.

Personally, unless Motson is sacked in the next few days, I want ITV1.

total f***ing no-brainer. Motson is appalling but he is nowhere near as execrable as Tyldesley. I'm pretty sure however that BBC will give it to Barry Davies as motson got the semi. Davies is class. In any event, if it is Motson I will be watching it on interactive with Crofty and Claridge. Superb. Just like two blokes down the pub. Last night someone texted in to say that Deco is a spot for Ronnie Corbett. Then someone else said he's a spot for Monkey (a better spot).

John Motson is great.

You're joking right? He has completely lost whatever plot he had. Last night he went ballistic when Ronaldo was booked for taking off his shirt. This would have been a big deal if Ron was due to lose out on a place for the final but otherwise it wasn't a big deal. I seriously think he is going senile. I'm pretty sure it will be Davies for the final who unlike Motson gets better with age.

Easy answer, BBC stroll it for me, watched one game on ITV last weekend with commentry provided by Radio 5 as I couldn't bear 90 minutes of David Pleat. Half time on BBC is better with the pundits playing off each other, Ian Wright is pure class, wears his heart on his sleeve and just says what he thinks. When they went back to the studio after the penalties versus Portugal, Wrighty was just staring out of the window and wouldn't look at the camera, guess he didn't want the nation to see him shed a tear, he was out there as a fan too, you could tell how much an England win meant to him.

BBC 1 - Messrs Pleat, Townsend etc are totally clueless as football pundits.

At least Hansen, Schmeichael etc can talk the game.
