With two teen lads, off to the bowling at 7pm. Always found it the best way for a relatively stress free Christmas eve. Back around 11pm,with time for a few beers and worn out kids. Then herself can bring out all the pressies. :)

We'll be going to mass and then taking a few things up to the graveyard. We'll come home and have toast and juice, everyone will have a wrapped present of new pyjamas on their bed so will get changed into them. Make a snack and drink for Father Christmas, then hang stockings and off to bed.

Paddy will drive over to the grandparents once everyone is fast asleep and retrieve the presents, set them out and then we'll go to bed.

Why tonight ?

Because otherwise most of Xmas Day is taken up with either cooking it, eating it or cleaning up after it, so in my family we generally tend to do it either Xmas Eve or Boxing Day depending on people's work commitments.

Going to possibly get wasted at a pub in Lindfield (The Stand Up - mmm Dark Star ale), however I have resolved to be careful as I feel a duty to go to a service on Christmas Day and the only one is at 9:30am - yuck!

We are perusing the tv guide, feeding arthur bland foods as he's not 100%, and having a small g&t, as soon as Art goes to bed we'll start wrapping his presents....he's got all manner of really cool things - all Thomas the Tank Engine  Zef's been to visit Nana in hospital and we're generally being nice and quiet a cosy and family....
