I've never seen anything like the black ice on my road in my life!

Just made a 4th aborted attempt to get to work - my record so far is about 15 metres from the front door, but I did stack it big style, so I lose points!

All buses and taxis have been pulled off the roads in Southampton.

Fell over on the way to the station in Southampton this morning, the trains are also up the shitter too, 'Slippery rails' apparently. I have made it to work though.

snow is all gone however still a lot of icy patches around......and it decided to rain this morning.

I'm genuinely worried wondering how I'm going to get back home from HH today. The A272 around Bolney/Cowfold is stuffed due to the accidents I saw (and literally weaved around) on my way in this morning, and the A23 southbound is stuffed at Bolney. I've never known conditions like it.

I just got back through the Pennines, from Penrith in Cumbria where it was still snowing... already covered in around 9 inches of snow.
So - it's looking like a gorgeous white Christmas up there, while down here it's just wet, slippery, dark and cold.
I feel like driving back up there.
