What would you do if there was no park and ride? You could do that, and leave the P+R to those of us who are not locals. Thanks.
I don't wish to appear rude but if there was no P&R what would you do ?

I'm sure you are a completely new poster who has never been on NSC before but, just in case, have you ever had another account on NSC ?

It appears your beef is that because a small fraction of those using the park and ride don't have vehicles they are adding to the delay in getting home.
This is a very odd position because apart from early leavers and those close to exits skilled at the final whistle dash there is a wait for every form of transport. I feel you should be aware of this.
If course many choose to wait for queues to die down by staying behind for a couple of jars. The vast majority of these people lightly topping up the clubs coffers have absolutely no intention of driving for a considerable period of time.
In fact it seems like most people are making the best of an occasionally tricky situation, in ways that mainly benefit you, yet you are the one whining.
Oh and I'd probably walk 600 yards to get a much less frequent bus, and should you choose to park near me and get the same bus I would neither complain about the reduced parking opportunities near my house nor tut at you squeezing on the bus. We're all fans trying to get to a match to support our team. We're in it together.

'Attempts to get back on topic'

Has anyone been to the stadium today to get a shirt?
Is there any movement on the outside fanzone / bars / toilets etc.?

Not at falmer, but it would be great if we could get some shelters at the Park and ride pick up spots. They're really convenient ways to bus to the ground, but not all of us have a car to sit in when it's raining and the bus isn't ready to go.

Talking to someone who has been there recently and the fanzone is almost complete and will hold 1000.
Dicks bar apparently is no more as they are looking to have another level for the club shop.
The tunnel club is complete and already sold out at 10k a season.

I can give them a good Christening next week..
Possibly one for the confessions thread but before stadium construction finished I managed to wander into the stadium by affecting an air of purpose and as part of my illicit whistlestop tour I deposited a massive brad in the bog closest to the directors box.
Sorry Tony. I did flush and there were still a few weeks for the smell to dissipate.

Sorry, I assume this is a joke?

And not that we have to go through extensive (skewed) surveys on things like safe standing and the park and ride because apparently the fan opinion on that matters (hahaha), but yet they've made up their own mind to get rid of the fans bar (Dicks) in favour of a fanzone they've dreamt up with no consultation on anyone?

God, our club may be fantastically well run but it doesn't mean there's some spectacularly slimey behaviour goes on when it comes to making a few quid.

if there was no P+R I would have to get the train. There’s no realistic alternative.

I hadn’t heard of NSC until about 3 weeks ago. Seems to lack structure which is a bit frustrating but I’ll give it a go for a while.

Structure? we have no structure, it's a complete free for all in here, that's the beauty of it!

Absolutely, Dick's Bar gone? and with no consultation with the fans that use it or even prior warning? If that rumour is true then it's appalling PR by the club, and absolutely dreadful. It's been a big part of the Amex since dat one, even l would hazard a guess by people who don't use it.

If the reason for it's demise is to replace it with another floor for the club shop then it's even worse. I mean what more tat is there to sell?
