Given that chickens don't menstruate, that is a very odd thing to be told. They do, however, lay eggs out of the same hole from which they defecate.I don‘t eat eggs as a standalone item. If they just crack a little bit, then you can get a hard boiled egg with less white - which suits my Mum. 12 minutes for very large eggs, with an instant transfer to cold water to stop the yolk from blackening.From about the age of 7 or 8 I used to always cook eggs … boiled, scrambled, poached omelette or fried. Still do 2 or 3 times a week.
Don’t forget to add vinegar to the water to stop the shells from cracking whilst cooking.
