RAMSAY'S TALENT SEARCH

Gordon Ramsay is to launch a TV search to find a new top chef, according to reports.

The star of Hell's Kitchen will front the Cook Idol show on Channel 4 after signing a £1.5m deal with the station, The Sun said.


Ramsay will test amateur chefs nationwide then invite the best candidates to work in a tough restaurant kitchen before deciding the winner.

A Channel 4 source told the newspaper: "He is looking at various formats and one is for him to create a star chef."

Foul-mouthed Ramsay is also to star in a prime-time cooking show on the channel called The F-Word.
