I dunno why, but if i'm bored I usually go on soccerbase.com. Its good if you wanna prove someone wrong, I decided to find out how many appearances all our squad had made for us(I wanted to find out mainly for Mayo and OGH)

appearances are in all competitions

1st Place goes to Kerry Mayo with an impressive 271 appearances for us, hopefully he'll get past the 300 mark during this season

2nd Place goes to Oh Gary Hart with 229 appearances, not bad for 1000 pounds huh?

3rd.Paul Watson..201
4th.Danny Cullip..178
5th.Charlie Oatway..161
6th.Richard Carpenter..145
7th.Nathan Jones..119
8th.Michel Kuipers...106
9th.Robbie Pethick..58
10th.Simon Rodger..30
11th.Dean Blackwell..22
12th.Adam Virgo..19
13th.Shaun Wilkinson..16
14th.Dan Marney...13
14th.Geoff Pitcher...13
16th.Chris McPhee...12
17th.Adam Hinshelwood..8
18th.Guy Butters..7
19th.Dean Hammond...6
19th.John Piercy...6
21st.Ben Roberts..4
22nd.David Lee...2
23rd.Dan Harding..1
23rd.Leon Knight...1
23rd.Darius Henderson..1
26th.Dan Beck..0
26th.Nicky Bridle..0
26th.Carl Wilson-Denis.0

its good to have 8 players who've played over 100 games for the club, and 3 over 200, loyal bunch

last year we could have named an entire starting XI out of players who'd played 100 games for the club, with Brooker, Zamora and Rogers making up the numbers, now hows that for good long term signings?

whats the brighton appearance record?

It is indeed Tug Wilson with 566, follwed by Sully with 491, Norman Gall with 488, Bobby Farrell with 486 and Bert Longstaff with 443.

Kerry's already in the top 30. An ever-present this season will put him in the top 20.

He should easily break the record if he stays here until he retires (and remains injury free).

Did Sully really make that many appearances? Knew it was a fair few, but didn't realise it was that many.

Have to agree with bigc here, soccerbase.com is a superb site, for anything you need to know about footy.
