I suspect Cheltenham have similar aspirations to all clubs - to win games and move up the league. It's not just about the clubs history. A player will look at the manager etc.
And the prospect of first team football but mostly about the wages being paid.
He was reputedly on very good money at Leeds so to drop to either us or Cheltenham he would have to consider the drop in wages. DK says that we are compeitive on that front so who knows. Cheltenham may have him on loan with a view to a purchase in January which suits both clubs and the player but who knows what will happen. Th one thing that is certain is that we do not need him on loan whilst we have Thornton, Savage and Ayinsah, not sure about him being the answer as a permananemt in January.
