apparently. The club sent an email to all 1901ers saying the FA had commandeered this area for their use though. I cannot recall the exact wording though but it certainly alluded to this.

Can anyone shed some light?

Have you been on some secret S.A.S. trip the last week? On a reconnaissance mission hiding in some hole in the ground has this question been on your mind the whole time?

Er no. Was told I could not use my seat as FA had block booked the entire tier. Someone mentioned today said tier was empty. As I have a PSL I'd like to use my own seat.

Yes it was really empty though.

Might have been because I got an email advertising seats at £30 each a bit late in the day. I'm not a 1901er. Most people had already got their 50p or £3 tickets by then.

If you look at the photos from the game on the Argus website, shows the middle of the tier with no more than a dozen people in it.

The £30 tickets were for West Stand Lower hospitality. as said previously the FA took over the 1901 middle tier lounges.

So the FA used the lounges but not the seats. Thanks.

Oh. Sorry for the misinformation.

Wow. The F.A. should be a bit embarrassed. Why did they all need 100 seats each? Probably so they didn't have to sit with the riff-raff like me I guess.

That's the answer I was given when I put the question to Ken Brown as to why we couldn't sit in our own seats. He said that the club were entertaining VIP's and the FA had requested that fans be relocated. He did say at least you had first refusal of the rest of the ground, cheeky git!!
