Yawn - can we ban these threads from now on please
You'll notice thousands of pissed & ticketless fans didn't turn up Friday night, so it all went fine (apart from the football)
Blimey. Kelvin McKenzie is an Albion fan ?

Hmmm either trolling or someone who hasn't watched the news or read a newspaper recently.
What is it with people wanting to ban everything and everyone they disagree with?

Do you include Brighton and Hove Albion's tribute to the victims of the Shoreham Air Show tragedy in your criticism?
It's not just that day. It's taken 27 years for football fans not to be labelled, drunks, hooligans, thieves & liars.
27 years of establishment cover ups this have affected every game & stadium ever since.
That's no comparison.Brighton had a very strong connection with the plane crash.
theres an H in Heysel as well but Liverpool fans forgot about thatThere's an H in Hillsboro and Hawthorns, that's all
I think this is a great show of respect. There will come a time when the next generation of football fans comes along when not everyone will know what happened, the cover-up that followed and the 27 years it took for the truth to come out.
What West Brom have done is in 10 years time when a new young fan walks in to their first game and says to their dad, why are those seat red dad? is keep the memory alive so that furture fans can ensure that nothing like that happens again.
theres an H in Heysel as well but Liverpool fans forgot about that
Well this makes sense, however be them temporary or not, it is a great show of respect. Well done WBA.Apparently they're only going to be red for today's game against Liverpool. They'll be changed back for next season
ThisIf anyone is in any doubt whatsoever that the Hillsorough victims should be remembered and paid tribute to in this way, watch the BBC documentary 'Hillsborough' , it's still on iPlayer . It gives an accurate, moving account of events on 15th April 1989. I've never seen some of the footage before and it is deeply shocking.
For 27 years, those families have fought and dedicated their entire lives to exonerate their loved-ones from blame for what happened that day.
It's a lovely tribute. Well done West Brom.
Nothing against the Hillsborough disaster but another very important disaster that too often gets overlooked and what also helped change football in this country for the better and make it safer for everybody was the Bradford City Fire...
I commemorated that disaster here on Nsc, on the anniversary just a few days ago. You must have missed it. And the commemorations in Bradford.
