Would have been the reward for dispatching Newport County in the League Cup 1st Round.

Hugely dissapointing we've missed out, trip to a PL club for our supporters and a potentially money spinning tie at a well supported club.

Do you really care that much?! What's the point when all it does is contest our fixture list when really the main priority is to continue stabilising ourselves as a competitive team in one of the most competitive and open leagues in the footballing world, especially with a change in management and coaching front?!

Honestly, we are better out of that shitty cup anyway, midweek cup games are stupendously pointless!

An extra game to develop partnerships in the first team, the opportunity to pit our wits against quality PL opposition and perhaps a giantkilling and all of the glory associated with it, a day out for our supporters, extra revenue into the club coffers from a big crowd.

Positives certainly outweigh the negatives.
