Didn't we beat Rochdale or someone 4-3? I think that was one of the best games. Jeff Minton was brilliant - which probably gave him ideas above his station and convinced him he could also be a good player at a club that wasn't 2nd from bottom of the football league. Wrong.

Rotherham I think.

Barnet ? I was there.

Apart from the first 2 games at Preistfield, was there for every home game during our stay. The football was absolutely dire, but if we have had a decent team to watch, I would rather go to Gillingham than Withdean. It had a roof, terracing so you could stand, and the travelling time was only about an hour and twenty minutes.

So we've got about 40 odd out of the 1,025 crowd. Anymore out there?

I'd be interested to know the attendance for the Millwall Auto Windsreeens Shield defeat. As I remember it they very easily outnumbered us. There can't have been more than 300-400 of us there.

5-1 but with OGH missing a sitter in front of us, on that day, he confirmed to me that he was not a quality centre forward but just a player with lots of pace, which still got him 12 goals that season.

Was that the night that Moralee scored for us (didn't we go one up as well?)?

Seem to recall Millwall bought more than we had there.

yeah, Moralee put us ahead. Good sliding finish from a low cross at the near post I do believe.

I don't recall more MIllwall than us being being there, I do remember, having to walk through them afterwards! Usual couple of knobs looking for fun and then travelling back to LOndon was a laugh.

I just remember him kissing the badge as he tended to do when he scored...........which wasn't very often!

Bloody good goal if I remember rightly or maybe I just had low expectations in those days

REALLY? I maybe thinking of a completely different goal but I seem to recall he slid in at the back stick and tried his very hardest to put it over the bar from about a yard.
