Fella I knew used to live in a flat above the shops in Longridge Avenue made it to the UK final at the Hammersmith Palais - I think it was 1979 but might have been a year either side.
I was bombing around on a 750cc Honda ...

Did your sets then or later ever include Sparks - Number 1 Song In Heaven or Sylvestor - You Make Me Feel Mighty Real? (Or were they a bit too far removed from mainstream disco likes at that time?).
