You know what, well done to them. It's a tough league and they're probably better equipped to deal with it than we are. Apart from our secret weapon, a man that most of their supporters HATE, Gus Poyet. I honestly wish Southampton a good season, they're a nice enough club considering some of the w*nkers in this league. For me this season is all about giving the dream of Premiership football a realistic shot and we're doing that. There is only one game on the fixture list that's a must-win for me and that's Palace.

Our historical enemy is Portsmouth why should we give 2 hoots about a small South London club who offer absolutely nothing. It is always the small clubs in awe of their larger neighbours eg Everton jealous of Liverpool Man City jealous of Man Utd so just ignore Palace they are not worth recognition.

I disagree. Southampton and Portsmouth are always going to be lively affairs, due to their location, and I fully appreciate our history with Portsmouth. However, we have struck up a rivalry with Palace over the last 40 years that has surpassed our hatred of Pompey, who also have the Saints to worry about.
