Did anyone really see us being in this position after all the money that was spent in the summer and the positive way in which we ended last season? I for one didn't and unless our home form improves, and does so soon, it looks as if it's going to be another hard year where survival is our main aim. What a depressing thought, even after only 9 games.

Let's hope Slade turns it round soon although the signs are not encouraging.

One win and we'll be in the top half, how many teams are on the same points as us ? As the season draws on we have the advantage of a decent squad and large squad so when the injuries start to tot up it will be rather different.

Every time we don't win we get this shit, Bore off.

1 Goal made the difference between being 11'th and 21'st. :tosser:

Well you can't buy success and sticking with the same manager is not a promise of success look at middlesboro they kept southgate and he got them relegated

You're right, the Scum at Old Trafford are really suffering by sticking with Taggart when it looked like he was next in line to be fired all those years ago.

We get a draw when down to 10 men, away at a club which has won six of its last 7. If it wasnt for the Elphick howler in the 93rd last week we would be unbeaten in 5.

Turn it round soon?! What a bell end. I'm guessing most of the anti posters on here are the new generation who demand instant success. Get real children!!

Did anyone really expect us to get a win today... isntead we went down to ten men and still got a draw.... if you needed to create this sad thread you should ahve done it ast week... not after a very encouraging result. It just makes you look a bit silly. Like ernest but without the humour.

At the end of the season the difference between the first non-playoff spot and the last non-relegation spot will routinely be ~20 points -- six wins and a bit. Relatively early in the season, the table is even more compressed.

Yet again...an unbelievable over reaction from so called fans....idiots.

We are 3 points off the team in 8th place....we played well last week and were easily the better team for the majority of the game....last 5 games have seen a massive improvement.

When you think that the game against Sockport was a freak game and the Huddersfield result only came after we lost FDM at which point we were the better side....are things really that bad?

There is no doubt in my mind that we will be in the top half of the table at the very worst come the end of the season.

To be honest, if we play like that this season we will stay up.

Rovers are pushing for automatic place and imo we as fans need a reality check.

We will be fine, I guarantee

Well, looking at it dispationately, then yes you are right, This run of results are not good enough, that is obvious and hopefully we can start to pull it around as we have an extremely difficult October.

It is a real shame we are not higher up the league however if you think how absolutely shite we were last year, and we ahve basically the same nucleus of that side with a few tweaks here and there, we shouldn't really expect to be storming it.

Personally I think this season the division is a lot stronger, especially as Southampton seem to gaining momentum and Leeds/Charlton seem to be running away with it......

We just need to strengthen the defence and I think we will be OK

They played a blinder today - well done to the ten men! Our support was superb as usual away from home and I can see that we are improving all the time. Cause for optimism not concern - the only way is up!

Just going to find something to fix my sore throat - I think I overdid it today - great fighting performance all round
