The bookies are normally right and if we're honest we should be favourites to go down, much as we expect more. Very low budget. No track record.

I hope that if we are bottom at Christmas that people aren't calling for Hughton's head. He deserves to stay even if we're bottom at the end of next year as he'd be the best man to get up straight back up again.

No surprises and that's why I'm pleased that either Hudds or Reading will join us in the PL next year. I genuinely think we're much better than either club and if we are then effectively we only have to add two from the likes of Burnley, Leicester, Swansea, Watford to stay up. It's going to be a tough season but I'm hopeful.

I will be backing us to stay UP. Not saying we will, but that's where the value will be.

Currently favourites, but a few additions to the squad over the summer and a good start should change that by the end of August

take out the top 7 (Everton, City, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelshit, Spurs) and the rest of the teams are pretty average. We need to have a mini league against them and come 4th from bottom.
I think we can do that.

Complete non-story. Of course we are the favourites at the moment - we are, after all, the lowest placed member of the PL. This time next week we'll be second favourites behind the play-off winners.

Quite agree that we should stick with Hughton, no matter what. I don't believe we will be relegated though - although the PL is that much harder now that Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Hull are no longer in it.

4 posts... Piss off!

Shouldn't you be more worried about whether it's going to be Moyes or Pardew to take over the reigns of your champions league ready empire?

I don't know why anyone pays attention to long-term odds.
They change dramatically every week.

Of course we are favourites as of right now. Why wouldn't we be?
