Believe it or not the father of one of our players gave me this info. Maybe on a wind up but there was something in the way he said it he was believable

Wendy is just not manager material for me.
Have heard too many rumours about his time in charge to give me any sort of confidence in his ability to manage senior/experienced/high quality players.
He's your classic assistant: a decent coach, who does the Mr Nice Guy role very well in contrast to the Manager's Mr Nasty routine, but just not cut out for managing the sort of players we require at this level.
