Welsh Clubs in Europe

When the qualifying draw is made for the Intertoto, UEFA and Champions League, some unheard of sides in Eastern Europe will be getting out their atlases to find:

Rhyl (Champions League)
Total Network Solutions (UEFA) - that'll confuse them!
Haverfordwest (UEFA)
Aberystwyth (Intertoto)

Whilst here in Bridgend they can't wait to welcome former perennial champions Barry Town to the local park pitch! How the mighty have fallen.

Actually Moralee was one of their best when he played (and seemed to have learned the off-side rule at last). Think he really found his level!

Lawrence Davies however never did find his level.

Excellent news, I can combine a visit to the olds in Pembrokeshire with a home game for Haverfordwest in the UEFA cup, best make it during the preliminary rounds though, can't see them troubling the opposition for too long.
