In front of the PC
the only way i would watch them would be

a) someone else paid
b) Brighton were not playing that day
c) I couldn't find any wet paint to watch.

When I wasn't playing I went to see Norwich a few times while at college there. Very enjoyable - apart from the Zenith Data Systems 5-0 win over a team in blue and white stripes one year on a bloody freezing night. Christ we were shit that day. I think there were about 50 fans in the away end. Anyone else there? Could have been anywhere from 87 to 90, the mind's a bit of a blank around that period.

Bloody hell - I was there, in the more-entertaining-than-the-match company of a Coventry-supporting fellow Fifers Lane inmate who'd taken acid about an hour before kick-off. As a result he spent much of a game laughing at nothing in particular and facing the wrong way, wearing combat trousers, a Joe Strummer haircut and a "Rock Against The Rich" badge. He recently stood as a Conservative candidate in the local elections in Cambridgeshire.

I went to watch Norwich a few times from '89-92 - it wasn't THAT long ago but only a fiver to watch them in the top division at the time and they were good too - Fleck, Rosario etc.

Exiled in Portsmouth
I have lived within 5 minutes walk of Fratton Park for the last 15 years and the only time I have ever gone there is when the Albion have played.

Apart from that I try not to even look at it when I go past!!!!!

As an aside - to let you know just how lucky I am - I also work within 5 minutes walk of St Mary's and the only time I have been in there is when we played them.

yeah, i did when I was at college down there in 83/4 - it was cheaper than coming back every weekend - and they had a pretty decent team that was on the up (Mark Hately, Neil Webb, Alan Biley etc) as opposed to ours which was being dismantled in haste post cup final.

and I stood amongst the Portsmouth fans during the 5-1 drubbing that season.

I went to fratton park during last summer as they were playing inter in a pre-season friendly, found it quite intressting sitting around all these pompey fans whilst they are talking about season tickets and grounds they are going to in the following season, i went so that i could tick the ground off and had a small chuckle to myself when inter went 2-0 up

No, I may have to go and spend some time near Pompey on a work related course later this month, I will not be venturing into the town for anything, least of all to watch that pox ridden good for nothing excuse for a football team play.
