It's been a fairly successful qualifying campaign for all of the home nations on reflection. Maybe we should stop competing in the European and World Cups, be more realistic and instead have a home nations trophy every two years. If we throw the republic into the mix it could be the football Five Nations.

;)

As somebody who wanted both to go through, I'm gutted. And I don't need any Aberdonian taking the piss.

But I can't really complain at Zed - the ****s who crowed on Saturday deserve to get a little bit of it back.

I'm still crowing, because Scotland didn't qualify.

I never thought we were going to make it anyway, so because McClown had the chance to make another incredible hash of his joke-job is only underlining the immense problem England have with the whole set-up, even more.

scotland just simply WON'T be able to crow from any high perch, bleating on about being the only British team there. And that, Zed Seagull, is a most wonderful thing.

Crow away NMH, we're actually looking forward to the World cup draw, can't say you are!

Has to be said the that the Scots are in a team in the ascendence, who went out with their heads held high whereas England were well beaten by a better team and the future looks grim for English Football, whoever gets the job.

At least the Scots can take their defeats with their heads held high in this competition. Losing to Italy isn't a disgrace.
The English are in no position to throw anything (stones/glasshouses)

Oh shut up with the melodramatic GIBBERISH, the jocks were leading their group and lost to a very average Georgia side a few weeks ago, and were as gutless and clueless as we were last night.

The fact that they had Italy as the last game only gave them a vague excuse for letting a goal in after 70 seconds at home when they had it in their hands to qualify.

Fact, and do stop talking SUCH rubbish.

Stop being so BITTER, banging on about Scotland's failure whilst supporting England who needed Israel to give them a lifeline they decided not to grasp is just plain embarrassing to read.

In ascendence, meaning they topped their group until the last two matches, what should have been a fairly easy away match and a tough one at home (at the best time for it, as the last match in front of their 'famously fervent fans')?
