I think you will find that most of us in H&J blocks are season ticket holders, and have been for a long time.

I for one settled in H block because it is the singing section, and I now see and have a good laugh with the other fans around me.

Those blocks are not 90% season ticket holders, as is shown by the fact that the extra tickets that often go on sale are in H and J block.

It comes down to the fact that when the club dished out the tickets for the first season at Withdean, there was no singing block, this was introduced in the second season but they put it up the far end, so a lot of us did not bother to move as we had seats around the halfway line. Now I would be hacked off if I lost this seat so a few of you could be put there in the vague hope that the atmosphere might improve.

I suggest that somebody from NSC has a clip board and that we must go up and get permission before shouting out or starting any singing at any futures matches. Perhaps somebody could pass round a comical script and we will know when we are allowed to join in!

Perhaps the games should be played in virtual reality or a different planet as that is where most people on this board live.

The majority of Brighton fans DO NOT read NSC, do not read the mailing list. People think this board runs the club, effects how the players feel, that makes me laugh.

According to jumped up people like Yorkie ets then some of us are not proper fans? What right do you have to say that? I booed McGhee on Saturday because he got it wrong, he had options in Jarrett, Molango and Robinson but he decided not to use them. Still i am a bad bad fan.

Perhaps i should ask for a refund on the 3 year season ticket i got at the start of the season, take back my donation to the alive and kicking fund, take back all the merchanise that i have bought over the years, erase the fact that i have been to about 1,200 Albion games. I will delete refernces to going to Mellor to visit Archer, i will remove any reference to demonstrations against the old board. Its just not good enough, i have not posted more than a 1,000 messages on NSC (sadly shake my head in shame)

I THERE ANNOUNCE NSC USERS AS THE ONLY REAL TRUE BRIGHTONS FANS.

Perhaps you can stand at the turnstiles at the next home game and anyone without a NSC user name will be asked to go home as they are NOT real fans

Goodbye

Spot on post mate. Sensible voice of the more infrequent NSC posters.

You know what? Sometimes I'm just so goddam tired.

Tired of battling to get Falmer. Tired of knowing that we have no money to buy players. Tired of getting thumped by teams who have their own nice new stadium. Tired of fundraising. Tired of hearing that some of the few players we have are injured. Tired of getting cold and rained on in a lego stadium.

Sometimes it's just hard to stay chirpy.

:(

That is exactly how I feel sometimes, especially after a result like last weeks, but I generally get up again fairly soon ( no inuendo intended), with game like WHU coming up, who wouldn't be enthusiastic.

I didn't before you lay into me.

That was a direct quote from the Argus article

Why don'y you lot in that section create a better atmosphere then and we wouldn't be having this move the singing section debate.

Are we that bad in H block? I really enjoy going to the footie. I couldn't wish to be in a better place to watch the game or be with better people.

We aren't Dover.

It's a good crowd. There's always plenty of banter and we make the effort to sing.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Hope that wasn't a reply to my post, I was directing that at Uncle Buck, saying that if the centre of the south stand would create more noise, then the singing section could stay where it is. Sorry for the confusion.

Opinions as to whether it's OK to boo or shout at players/managers will always vary because of peoples' differing personalities and values. Of course some get angry when they don't like what they see, or believe decisions made by the manager are wrong. Some are able to contain their anger but for others it's channeled into aggression e.g shouting to vent their feelings.

Personally I don't agreee with shouting as I think it's counter productive, not constructive, and merely serves to release the frustrations of those doing it. Some people are able to contain their emotions, others are not. It doesn't make them less of a supporter, in fact it is often the most passionate supporters who care so much that they get worked up when things don't go as they would like. I appreciate that Mr Blobby is a dedicated supporter and he is entitled to hold the view that shouting in anger is acceptable. that is his opinion, some agree and others don't.

Personally,I don't agree with the statement "I pay my money, I'm entitled to......." I don't think paying for admission to a match entitles me or anyone else to be offensive and some of the things that are shouted are just that.

A "supporter" supports the team but does not necessarily always like what he sees. Whether he considers it OK to voice his opinions in the earshot of the manager, coaching staff and players is a matter for conjecture and there will always be disagreement on the subject.

I am bouncing this for the day shift to try and clear my name.

I know some of you love to think the worst of me and jump to conclusions.

I try to think the best of the club and people all the time. If that makes me 'holier than thou' then I apologise.

Please don't judge me when you don't know me.

There is a political spectrum on this board.

FAR RIGHT - The likes of FG and Ernest who will do down ANYTHING the club does.

CENTRE RIGHT - The people that want to have a bit of a moan now and then but are generally open to most things. (I include myself in this bracket)

CENTRE LEFT - The people that don't like the moaning but can sometimes see fault with the club.

FAR LEFT - These are the rose tinted happy clappy brigade that are whiter than white who can never see fault with the club in any way shape or form and spend a large proportion of the time having a pop at people moaning.

Yorkie, 99% of us on here know you for what you are = a loyal brighton fan with a very sensible head.

please ignore some of these people on here that enjoy jumping on the back of someone with no f***ing grounds to do so.

you lot should take a long hard look at yourself who where bitching and i think a f***ing apology to Yorkie wouldn't go a miss!:censored:

Just to put things into perspective;

This is a message board where we exchange banter about BHAFC and other more diverse subjects such as hens.

people on here (probably myslef included) are far more likely to spout off than in real life beacuse they often have the protection of annonimity. It is just words and opinions of people that should be getting on with their work but are not.

NSC is NOT the be all and end all of life

I think some people need to take this board for what it is. A bit of fun. If you no longer enjoy using this forum, or you are having trouble distinguishing what is said on this board with reality then don't use it.

In fact BHAFC doesn't even rate that highly in the emortal scheme of things. It is something we enjoy following (although I wonder with some of you if you even enjoy it?) on a Saturday. On here we get told off for not creating enough atmosphere at games or not going to enough games etc.

I know that I for one rate my family, job and friends higher than the Albion. I know that I enjoy going to watch them play when I have the time and money. I know that I am passionate about the club I support. I know that I get emotional when things go well or when things go wrong. I sing when we're winning and I moan if I see a player cock up a 10 yard pass to let the opposition in to score a goal.

I know that I will never get upset by anyone on NSC as they are just words and opinions of people that don't even know me.

stuff written on message boards is always taken out of context. what i meant was its alright for others to have a go at people for moaning about the club but as soon as someone says something back, its a big crime. i cant read anyone laying into yorkie not personally anyway, its not like anyone was calling her names or abusing her,

ffs we are all adults here and all this stuff is a bit childish, everyone is allowed to have and voice their own opinions. why get upset about something that is written on a board
