What the managers said in thier interviews...

Leicester boss Micky Adams:
"I'm disgusted. One or two of my players were average and the rest were very poor.

"That display was as poor a performance as I've ever been involved with as a manager. That was not a Micky Adams team out there, that's not the way I want to play.

"I don't want to take anything away from Brighton though because they worked as hard as any team I've ever seen. They're a good bunch of professionals and that's what I'm trying to get here."

Brighton boss Mark McGhee:
"We put ourselves about, especially in the first half, because Leicester are a physical side with some big lads and you have to compete with that.

"But we passed the ball too, moved it well and created opportunities. That was pleasing because it was something our fans didn't see a lot of last season when we had a different strategy.

"This year, though, we're determined to play more football and we're getting better at it too."

we have a great record on sky sports now... rushden at home, wolves away, qpr and plymouth, swindon X 2, play off final, today, can only remember some others like chester away which was 1-1, a defeat at orient- peter shilton one i think?

cant recall many others.

Reading away April 2003.

In fact since I got Sky/Cable I have recorded the Albion and we have won every game except the Wolves one, which we drew.

Sorry, I didn't see Sky (still can't bring myself to pay the Murdoch shilling) but does this mean that I have to like Neil Warnock now. With THOSE socks?

No. You can say he was only there to spy on us for when we play them in a few weeks.

He did remember the awful Prosser game though and referred to the fact that we were 2-0 up at half time.

I thought the coverage was great.
The Tony Gale gaffe ' Adam El Ab Dab' was well funny, the commentators couldnt stop laughing.

Was a shame no post match interviews, but caught all that on sky sports news anyway.

What a great Sky record we have now!
Marvellous Scenes as they say.

No wonder Micky is upset. our last two wins have led to the sackings of Danny Wilson and Craig Brown. Will Micky make it a hat-trick?
its quite amusing, but are we really that shit that if a team loses to us, their manager gets sacked?

As for warnock, top bloke and admitted that he has a soft spot for the albion.

all round a great weekend.

"It's just a matter of how many goals they put past them.........you should be able to get 100/1 against Brighton getting a result today"

Neil Warnock, pre match analysis on Sky
