If you're trying to restrict the spend, don't buy a new kitchen, a new condenser boiler, new shoes, and go to the footie all in one weekend - that's my advice.

Oh, and 90 golf balls on eBay.

how do you justify spending that much on drink? why not just get a crate in and drink in for a while then go out and spend £20/30 on drinks?

The amount he quote is quiet moderate for weekend drink expenditure...

but thats just friday night, he then also quoted £20 on saturday and £10 on sunday!

thats £80, you could have 8 crates for that :drink: :drink: :drink:

Drinking should take place at pubs. It should only be don in the house if you're having a bbq, poker night, house party.

Drinking whilst preparing to go out is allowed but should ONLY consist of downing a couple of cans whilst dancing round your room naked to massive hip hop tunes.

FACT.

OK, lets break it down.

Hour down the pub tonight...£10
New phone...£130
Pre-match drinks...£5 (driving)
Withdean...f*** all
Drinks/nibbles for poker night...£12
Poker losses ** WORST CASE SCENARIO ** £25
Takeaway....£15
Sunday lunch out...£25

= £222

Bumped up considerably by my gay new phone, and I suppose this doesn't take into account the missus going shopping, but I fully expect to rape someone over the green baize tomorrow night, so should work out around the £200-ish mark.

considering you are spending £130 on a phone, and are looking at poker from the worst case, it could have been a very cheap weekend for you!
