Websites Q - Is it common knowledge that a logo links to the sites homepage?

Is it common knowledge that a logo built into the design, such as the NSC logo top left, links to the websites homepage?

You may know that NSC does, due to being here too much, but would you consider this common knowledge and expect most sites to do this?

Yes - and can be very frustrating/confusing when it doesn't - naming the club website as an example

I'd always expect to click on the logo to get back to the home page.
