Tony Hawk was in Shoreham this week apparently trying out the new skatepark by the Civic Centre. I didn't know who he was, but apparently it was big news. Then again, the tide coming in is big news in Shoreham.

I had to make a grovelling apology to my son over this. He came home and said he was at the skate park with Tony Hawks. Of course i didn't believe him until his mate put up the footage on Youtube.

I am now in his debt
