Why can't you get a good pint of bitter round that way though? Still, apart from that it was a great day.

:nono: we lost and are not in the next rd draw for a cup game it doesnt matter how so long as you win and get through we failed so what was brilliant about that?

i'm sorry what were you expecting? :dunce:

We were beaten by a premership quality goal. at no time did we look out of place, we battled, passed the ball well, were unlucky not to score 3 more goals (2 due to the England number 1).

I just don't get some people

Maybe the fact that a lot of people expected us to get stuffed and we didn't.
We should be proud that given our shit circumstances we are capable of going to a big club and playing the way we did.
And anyway if you only ever look at the negative how are you going to motivate yourself to succeed.
Get real and get behind the lads.

Agreed. I thought we'd lose by at least 3 goals prior to yesterday's game, given Spurs recent form!

I came away from the game feeling robbed. We deserved a draw!

I can honestly say that's the best I've seen us play since we murdered Wolves a couple of seasons ago. We were fabulous and not at all outclassed. Much as I hate to say it, it took a slice of genius from Robbie Keane to sink us yesterday. Pity he spent the rest of the game whinging. Was Defoe playing? I barely notcied him

We had just finished cheering the fact that Palace had gone a goal down, when Keane got the ball. I thought there was no danger as Guy was leaning right into him. Then he took half a step back and curled it round him and into the net. Gutted.
