There's no team spirit at the Albion, just a conveyor belt of randomly stuck-together players. Teams with far less individual skill than us get the points off us cos they play together as a well-drilled unit. We just hoof n hope. For the odd half hour when we do try to play it on the ground and string passses together we look really good. But those days are few and far between. Some SERIOUS coaching needed - and some serious leadership on the pitch.

Don't worry, if we play like we did against Colchester we won't go down.......

We cannot just blame the Withdean factor. We don't do any better away either

I am absolutely not blaming the Withdean factor at all. At the end of the day we all know the stadium is poor but it can seat enough people and there is a bit a grass and two goal posts, you fill that area with good players then they forget where they are playing and just get the job done.

Great performance today. We outplayed Swindon for most of the game and played some great football. Sunk by a Dodgy penalty decision and a quality goal on the break. Had enough clearcut chances to win it.

Exactly!

Plus we will dust ourselves down and kick start the season against Orient.

We have a bunch of f***ing losers in our squad. That's the reality.

Maybe we did outplay Swindon. However, the table doesn't lie. Our team is a bunch of losers & most of them do not deserve to wear the BHA shirt.

Chill out! We are not competing at the top end of the table, we are at the bottom. The games we have lost since Poyet arrived have been gaisnt teams in the top 5 or 6. When we've played teams outside the top 5 or 6 we have won. If we played a mid table team or lower today we would have won hansomly.

Having charlie oatway taking training doesn't help, what coaching has he done before, f*** all. Bet the players can't hardly understand a word he's on about.

Amazing isn't it? All the posters who wanted White & Booker out & were saying we needed an experienced coaching team.at the albion, were suddenly happy when oatway was appointed. Nothing against Charlie but what was that about?
The same as all the moaners who were so vociferous about Slade. Hasn't improved much yet, has it?

Completely agree. Six points in next two games for sure, then we can kick on from there.

Evening SM! Fair play for your mob taking the points today. At least somebody in the local area will be going out for a celebratory drink tonight innit.

I didn't make the game today, so it'd be interesting to hear your thoughts (as an oppo supporter) about the way The Albion played today. Was it a fair result in your opinion - & how did the Albion support come across?

ps Enjoy that drink btw!

Well my thoughts.....

Game could have been a win for you, a draw or our victory, it was just one of those games, there were parts of the game that you controlled but didnt realy threaten us. We had a serious problem when amankwaah was taken off after 25 minutes so we had sheehan playing at right back who cannot kick with his right foot and the liability that is lescinel brought on as left back. I thought you would exploit sheehan but whoever your left midfielder is he did f*** all. Lescinel however tried his damndest to give you the lead.

dickinson? you sure he is a forward. cant hit a barn door etc. Mcnulty looked good on the ball but shat himself when mcgovern had the ball. Brezovan played very well and kept you in the game with some cracking saves. but even he didnt have a chance with that freekick.

I was in line with your goal and my first impressions were forster was 2 yards offside, would like to look at that again.
How the f*** that little shit wasnt booked after celebrating his goal like he did i dont know, we could be in trouble because someone threw a cup of hot coffee at him.

All in all you werent the worst team we have seen here this season, and i reckon you will stay up pretty easily. We didnt play that well today maybe at about 60%.

Charlie austin seems to be a f***ing god send of a signing 5 in 6 games now, not bad for a brickie.

In regards as to your support considering the shitty weather, good turnout and you were loud on occassions. It was so f***ing cold though, it really didnt lend itself to singing and we were quieter than usual.

Is it murray who seems to win everything in the air?

I've always said Oatway was shit as a player let alone being a coach, feck me, can you imagine him giving a pep talk, right lads, just kick em, punch em, head butt em, you no, just look tough.

Charlie oatway is a plum!

Thanks for all that SM, it appears there's a bit of hope for us yet! Sounded like it could've gone either way on the radio too tbf - although the healthy Albion bias is often slightly misleading (probably). Good job that bit of snow didn't come to anything otherwise there would've been a helluva lot of totally f***ed-off & indeed f***ed-up punters. Tis also heartwarming to hear that Fozzie's still expertly winding the home support up like a good 'un! Sounds like your team could be in with a decent shout of a Play Off place at the end of the season. Enjoy your Crimbo hon, & I'll venture to do the same - albeit in a somewhat more pessimistic stylee!
