Just seen our squad on sky sports news they were saying we have no money to buy any players dispite the fee from Bobby. They are saying we owe Rovers 40%!!!!! On the plus point it was nice to see the whole squad line up fro photo,s!!!

its not quite like that

we budgeted at the begining of summer in the understanding that bob be sold.
so, although it may seem like no new cash will be spent, there is a bit- sc reckons 100,00 for a player. fear not!!

I sometimes wonder how people can be so ignorant.

I also wonder where sky, and the media, get their shit from.

er, not being funny, but whats new? Weve been skint for 5+years now.

DK might have steered a steady course away from the abyss of non-league and we've seen two championships, but he's not exactly brought a boat load of £50 notes to the party.

I have it on good authority that SC has been offered and approached by several "names" from the Premiership but is continually frustrated by the board and their lack of cash. Some players have offered to play for free, just to put themselves in the shop window.

It would be nice to think we could get through a whole season with the same manager, however would not be at all surprised if SC gets frustrated with the situation soo.

Rubbish. He knows exactly how much he has to spend and what he can afford. He signed a new contract a month ago. He's not going to quit!!

So they play well, get snapped up by another club and we are back to square one. I think SC is right on this one, he needs to plan for the entire season without fear that it will all go to pot the minute one of these players gets a firm offer from another club.

We may be skint, but we are not as skint as many other clubs! The world has changed and clubs will fold this season, but I doubt it will be us.

It's been a lot worse.
If Coppell goes we will replace him and life goes on.
I think he will see out his contract and he has won me over a bit.

eh? talk sence man. if player are apparently willing to play for nothing, then how can a lack of cash possibly be frustrating?

Or is the good authority something a bloke told you down the pub after 5 pints?

:salute:
