Cant see Man Utd wanting him back this season, as a lf of people were worried about a few weeks ago.

Expensive doctors needed to sort this illness/ injury/mental problem out.

We don't really need him now Baldock is fit.

He's excellent and could get us promoted if we can get him fit.

What happens when (if) Murray comes in on loan?
Is it worth sending back Wilson at that point? As we'll have four strikers competing for two places - Hemed, Baldock, Zamora and Murray.

Hey, if United are happy for us to hold onto him, even if he isn't starting too many games, I say let's keep him. It's always best to keep all options open, and I feel we will need him at some point even IF Glen Murray comes in on loan.

I thought the option was on their side, not ours.

If we sent Wilson back to Man Utd to accommodate Murray I'd be devastated. We don't need another striker anymore, 4 is enough so unless an injury stay clear of him

No, not worth sending Wilson back at all.

We actually have 3 1/2 strikers ( given that Zamora is basically part-time now ), competing for 3-4 places in the matchday 18.

Or, we could keep him for the rest of the season. Y'know, in case another striker gets injured before the end of the season.

From now to the end of the season we're going to have 4-5 players on every match day who might be fit but won't be able to make the squad.
eg: lets say in a few weeks Baldock, Wilson, Calde, Uwe, Crofts or any other 5 from the 24 might not be making the 18. or Skalak, Goldson, Lua Lua etc.

This doesn't mean they're OFF. This doesn't mean they're not needed. This doesn't mean they're out of favour. This doesn't mean they're GONE. This doesn't mean we should "Send them back".
This means we have a strong squad with 2 players for every position which is what you need to get promoted. And that 22 or 23 etc doesn't fit into 18.

Look at Murphy's improvement under competition for his place,Will Greer regain his etc etc. IMO we need strikers, not just covering injury but convincing the manager that they just cannot be dropped .We do not have that at the moment.

You must be joking, surely? We already know Sam B is not up to standard, whereas James W at least has potential.
