As others have alluded to, staying up is only half of it. Hughton needs to go, I’ve never seen such dire tactics (relative to division). My first season was at Gillingham and was a ST for the whole of the Withdean years, and whilst for large parts of that time we were god awful, at least there was a sense of backs against the wall and being the underdogs. The spirit and identity of the club has been damaged this season thanks to a two pronged attack by Barber and Hughton (maybe attack isn’t the right word for CH). Admittedly it’s part and parcel of the PL.
