No I agree. Bottom line is he gave it a good shot, but failed. At the end we looked a good bet to stay up but we fell off when it mattered. He failed to motivate Zamora towards the end and bottom line is he failed.

The squad he inherited was a championship winning team so therefore second in this division is what we should be achieving.

The way people are carrying on, on here you would think he was a god.

He came to us because he hadn't got anything at the time. Then this summer he faffed about trying to decide whether to stay with us whilst potential new players went unnoticed. Then he finally decides to stay with us (presumably because there were no better offers) and ten games into the season an offer comes along and he goes.

Sorry everyone says he is a decent man...but I just can't see it.

Yep I agree with oapdodge, some people are carrying on like we are losing the Messiah. He was a good to average manager who inherited a good second division squad. End of story.

When he goes a new manager, provided he is sensible can continue with the squad we have and still get success.
