He looks like he's just seen the league putting the blue and white ribbons on the trophy.

Even more amusingly, given our performances at SCC and last night, Nigel probably went home crying tears of frustration and puzzlement at how we are walking this league and how his Brazil-like team of expensive footballing superstars, er, aren't.

Do you think we're going to end up in a Pardew-situation again, whereby we win the league by a decent margin yet have a delusional opposing manager claiming his side were clearly the best team?

No doubt and he won't be the only one. Expect similar things from Clark and probably Ferguson. Karl Robinson might pipe up as well

Of course;

- the same way it is assumed wisdom that we only won div 3 in 2000/1 because Chesterfield were docked 9 points (we beat cardiff by 10 points and the Brown Envelope Brigade by 12)

- we beat Reading by 6 points in 2001/2 despite being an inferior team and, you may recall, cheating by having a league dispensation to play with a 0.5m narrower pitch which clearly gave wingers a disadvantage. (Luckily we never told Paul Brooker about it - which is similar to the 'fact' that Bumble Bees shouldn't be able to fly given their wing design versus their body mass but as they dont know it it doesn't stop them)

He's shellshocked, thinking, if he gets that much abuse from a mere 1400 fans, what the hell will he get from our 'paltry' 7500 on the 23rd!!
