Magilton told Ipswich's official website: "Brighton have made an enquiry about Darren and Dean but it's been no more than that at this stage."
Oh well, its only the penultimate day of the transfer window after all.

*sigh*

Before Adams was sacked he was looking at taking him to Coventry full time, but Ipswich wanted a fee.

Dean Bodwich is unlikely to be following him (if of course DC comes)

What about Bowditch?

Is there still any chance of us signing him?

Just a guess but someone on the official msg board who has been spot on before said that Southend had got in before us.

Well Southend would make sense from Currie's perspective. He won't have to move house, or drop a division. Shame if true though.

Southend have also just got rid of Guttridge (who dare I say it could've done a job) so may be looking to replace him with Currie.

Says in the argus this morning that our interest has cooled as Ipswich want a small fee.

Small fee (£50k?) would surely be worth it.

Exactly my thoughts, if we're quibvling over small fees then we've got no chance of signing anyone

Small fee....What a fcukin joke club we support...we could find any old excuse to not buy a player....last summer it was the agents fault and we bid to late for another, and now its the fact we might actually have to pay money to bring a player in...god forbid.

IM SO BORED OF THIS CLUB!

then f*** off and 'support' another team
the question is, how small is small and how much of an improvement would he make?

Just because im bored, dissalussioned and damn right fed up with everything at the club...its still the club ive supported all my life...so why would I want to support another club..??

Well he was good when he was here..the currant bunch arnt good enough...he's a good passer..good from set pieces..a decent team player..a bit of creativity we need..So a small fee is nothing compared to what he could do.

I don't mind about us losing out on Currie if we bring in someone else instead. I would still rather see us sign a striker than a midfielder anyway. But we don't seem to sign anyone permanently and with just 3 good strikers on our books that aren't injured, if one gets injured or suspended we will be really stuck for options. That for me is worrying, especially as we've only scored 1 goal this year with the strikers we have available to us now.
