Albion fans are torn between whether it would be better to go up automatically or enjoy a glorious day out at Wembley on Saturday, May 28 via the play offs if they finish between third and sixth place.

What a :dunce:

Is anybody preferring a day out at Wembley over automatic promotion?

Would love the day out at Wembley IF we were guaranteed to win. Otherwise, no, no, a thousand times no.

Wow, that is spectacularly stupid.

Is this a stunt to make Naylor look like an informed writer?

If god is watching over us, and he's choosing between giving us 2nd place, or giving us a guaranteed win at Wembley, please god, give us 2nd. The stress is just too much.

Which goon reckoned that ?

That's like saying the playoff final 'is only a game' if we lost it.

Tough one,......guaranteed £130m for the club or a day out in London. Too close to call

Personally I want to be promoted on the 7th, so 3 weeks of no stress and then watch the P/O final as a neutral, nice and relaxed.

If somehow you could offer me a cast iron guarantee that we win the playoffs, I would still take a 2nd place finish. :moo:

I can see it now. Play off final. 1-0 up, 80 mins gone and it's completely backs to the wall defending, off the line etc. I would literally vomit through the stress.
