Whilst we encorage anyone to join us, we will not accept abuse from anyone!!

That's fair enough on here, but it's slightly lop sided your moral stance really when another poster gets told to f-ck off and die.
I can take whatever gets thrown at me and I expect it.
Practice what you preach.

Where we're you when you were s-it?Serious question where we're you all.
Never get an answer !
You are the biggest melt on here.Keyboard Kenneth

I suspect that many fans were in the same situation as me. I had a young lad, now a teenager who would come to 4 or 5 games a year at Withdean. It was cold, Wet and without roofs, atmospherically dead. The view was also terrible. I suspect that many parents thought that committing to season tickets given that children would often come home wet and shivering would be detrimental in many ways.

What is Palarse excuse in their full enclosed, easily accessible, very cheap stadium for going shopping on a Saturday?

Judging by Palace attendances you'd probably have got about 3000 at a ground like Withdean in league 1!

Doubt it fella ,you however averaged under 8,000 for 14 years or am I wrong.
You have had one season since then getting decent numbers (fair play again)
However you lot trying to lord it over us after 1season 8 games makes you all look a bit deluded and pathetic really.
No that was you lot getting 3,000 and under for the Painter and decorators cup not us we have ever payed in it.

You suspect correctly. Problem is the palace poster keeps saying this same question every couple of weeks . 'I'm never getting an answer.' He gets answers each time but because he doesn't like the thought that we may actually have a decent residual fanbase (as do palace!) he conveniently ignores each well-reasoned response.

1. We had to suffer the loss of our ground.

2. We then played 80 miles away for 2 years in the worst league in English professional football. perhaps we wouldn't have if we'd been prepared to live beyond our means. Now there's a thought 35 years in the top two divisions etc etc blah blah blah.

3. We then return to Brighton but play in the worst ground in all the leagues.

4. We now have the best (for its size) stadium in the country perhaps Europe and even the world. It doesn't take a genius to work out that will attract people who at Withdean only went a few times a year to buying a season ticket. And yes, dare i say it, new fans and glory-Hunters, plastics whatever you wish to call them. (plastics were present at palace recently. Premier crowds of 25000 now have become 12000.)

5. We are playing great football and have some great players.

All of this and more has been pointed out to this particular poster. He is either too thick to understand or he's purely on a wind-up. I suspect it's the latter.

I don't expect him to reply to either your reasons amexee or to mine either unless it's in an unreasonable manner.

For probably over half of that time it was sold out and most of that was in League 1, in the old div 3 it was even sold out all the time. Not bad for a stadium that bad!
