The head of ManC Independent Supporters Clubs was interviewed by Jason Mohammad a few months ago about the national dislike for Sterling FROM FANS OF ALL CLUBS UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY. He put it down to the bad press Sterling's had on family life, his kids etc and that he's simply one of these celebs who people deem as having a face you'd want to punch.

Well yes a general dislike for Sterling obviously as I alluded to earlier, but it's been led by huge numbers of Liverpool fans who've hated him since he left them, and they've helped to spread the dislike of him to fans of other teams. Liverpool fans have a huge precence on social media and it's become very popular on social media to criticise Sterling.

He's always had criticism but it's gone into overdrive since he went to City.
