1) Hope we don't get there

2) Stay home and watch it on TV

I think the arrangements last time were as good as could be expected given staffing levels amount of time etc. and if I have to queue up for 5/6 hours to see the team I have supported since I was a boy play at Wembley, i'll treat it as a privalage

PS yes this is a (mini) rant at a post on 'Ask the club'

Get up at 6am (as usual) and get to Brighton by 8am. I only queued for just over an hour.

I went on the coach and the ticket was supplied with the seat. So that means I didn't queue at all.

If this happens again, I'd want to see the club make arrangements for other outlets to sell the tickets - not just Withdean and the Club Shop. For a small retainer, why not get the club to ask the places if they can sell them at - for example...

Withdean
Club Shop
County Ground
Woodside Road, Worthing
Arndale Centre, Eastbourne
Dripping Pan, Lewes
Marlets Centre, Burgess Hill

...or is this too dumb an idea that won't work? I haven't thought it through fully, so it can be pulled to shreds...

They will sell out if STH's are entitled to 4 or 6 each. A 30,000 allocation wont go far when all the fairweather supporters start clambering for them. Grimsby Town have had attendances averaging 4,000 this season yet managed to sell 25,000+ tickets. Mind you 20,000 of them will next week will be wearing their Premiership tops when they go to watch "their" team in the pub or at home watching on Sky.

The problem with this is the time from knowing you need to sell them, to them going on sell.

We didn't sell out for the Millenium. We took 29,000.

There are approximately 3,500 season ticket holders.

3500 x 4 = 14,000 leaving at least 16,000 left, plenty
3500 x 6 = 21,000 leaving at least 9,000 left, still plenty especially as Wembley would give more than 30,000 for each club if demand was there.

Makes sense to me for season ticket holders to get first dibs on these in my view. Don't forget last time they were selling up to ten a time to anyone last time. Shocking and when combined with the West Ham fiasco it cost them a lot of season ticket holders.

Getting to a play-off final cost us season ticket holders? You're having a laugh aren't you. Season ticket holders should be allowed to get their own ticket in advance (and a guest) that I agree with, however buying 4/6 in advance I dont agree with and it wont happen.
