Much like Bridcutt, Bridge delivers EXACTLY the same performance every time he steps out on the pitch for us. Week in, week out - his level just never seems to drop beneath an 8/10. Which is why you can tell he's spent many years at the top level, and is why the aforementioned Liam is destined for a lengthy career in the top flight also. So, so reliable.

Trippier (Burnley's right back) is highly rated. Bridge absolutely embarrassed him in the first half, I almost expected Trippier to be subbed at half time, he was that outclassed.

Bridge easily MOM for me. Contrary to the other thread, I didn't think El Abd was all that. Upson & Bridge were the brilliant half of the defence, Bruno & El Abd the weaker link.

Special mention for Greer and his tremendous clearing header at the end :lolol:

El Abd was a beast today. Did you not see the amount of headers he won in the air? I do agree that Upson and Bridge were both very good. Apart from Bruno's shocking first half display we looked solid.

For me anyway. Bridgy was excellent today & should have had the MOTM award. The sponsors took the easy route choosing Vicente who played well but surely Bridgys performance was worthy of the champagne. Wayne Bridge showed today he's the best left back in the Championship. Great performance

One has to understand that the match sponsors, thank you for your support, may not in some cases recognise a lot about football.

The thing is that Bridge turned in another excellent performance as did Tamas But you and I can recognise that. Vicente turned in another excellent display but his position is more in the limelight hence perhaps the choice.

The match sponsors blatantly pick the player they want to meet/be photographed with.

They pay their money so they're entitled to pick whoever they want. I do agree Bridge was head and shoulders MOM though - I was totally expecting to hear his name when it was announced. PIG and AEA were more deserving too than Vicente today.

Vicente did one turn away from 3 players that looked scientifically impossible.

He always reminds me of that kid in the playground who was a million times better at football than anyone else in school. Some of the stuff he does defies belief. I have to pinch myself sometimes that he even plays for us.

Bridge for me. Was quality throughout. Just hope there is a small chance that when is contract runs out he wants to sign for us. Was quoted in the early part of the season saying how much he was enjoying his football with us hope that's not changed.

Class.

I maybe wrong in saying this but, a friend of mine sponsored the hull game which had to be picked by the 75min, they could not agree on anyone but Kuszczak, they were then told that he is not allowed to be picked as he is the home goalie and the north stand would not like it.

Bridcutt had a poor game today, went missing for long period :moo:

Bridge for me too. Brilliant game, especially first half.

Definitely Bridge for me. If it was just on the first half then Vicente and Orlandi would have been well in with a shout too. But both faded, over the whole match had to be Bridge.

That's very strange. It would be a welcome acknowledgement of TK's goalkeeping tekka's.
