Maybe, Stoke, Cardiff, Watford and Reading should be used as games that if you have the ticket stubs for you get priority for FA Cup Third Round tickets, if we are away from home.

I can understand Stoke and Cardiff, but Watford and Reading are family friendly aren't they?

Edited to note that I now know what was meant by grouping these away trips together.

But then maybe those that do make these less appealing games get priority if we get an appealing tie in the third round. Reward loyalty and all that.

Loyalty or poverty.

But sadly them the breaks.

You know if we get a decent tie in the cup, even with this new ticketing policy (which seems to make no difference), there are still going to be some regular away travellers that miss out. These 4 games are a perfect opportunity to make sure the most loyal are at the front of the queue.

Which is more loyal though? Hull and Preston or Cardiff where you have to take time off work to get there?

Cardiff on a Tuesday night, like Sheffield Wednesday on a Monday is the sort of game where the absolute hard core 400 are going to go.

It makes no difference it will not occur to the club to try and benefit their most loyal travellers and instead it will be a mass bundle for tickets.

It just seems to me in the run up to Christmas that we have a perfect opportunity to make sure the most loyal away followers are guaranteed a ticket for a potential FA Cup tie and as ever we will not do anything about it.

Surely away to Sheff Wed, on a Monday night, when it's live on TV, should count for something in this half-baked loyalty scheme being proposed?

You're a brave man bringing up loyalty schemes again - you'll make enemies of those who miss out no matter what "loyalty" criteria you propose.

Which is why the current system probably won't be changed.

You're right about the loyal away supporters. How many will get tickets for the Southampton game also. Ticket applications already being taken for that one. Probably to avoid a clash with any potential FA Cup tie in January!!

See you at Stoke, got advance ticket via Birmingham. PM if you want a beer up there. Cheers.

QPR took 5,000 to Watford last night (apparently).
If we're such a big club, we should take as many?
