I genuinely couldn't believe this was real but apparently you can buy them in HMV!

Wow

Pretty sure it was reviewed on the gadget show (certainly something similar anyway) and it got a bigs thumbs up from the DJ's they had playing with it.

I reckon it will be a bit shit, I have no basis to form this opinion but this is nsc after all.

I am well intrigued by it.

Especially having sold my decks earlier this year.

Could this be a cheeky way back into DJ'ing on the fly?

Ritchie Hawtin was talking about this in mixmag a couple of years back. It looks like a bloody clever piece of kit, but is there a practical use for it except for house parties?

It won't be used in clubs, but for people who want to DJ just using digital files it looks pretty good. Anyone who's ever owned decks will know waht an expensive hobbie it is, I haven't bought any vinyl for a few years now but I can't bring myself to part with my decks.

surely its just an extremely poor mans serato. I seriously can't see much use for it unless to just mess about.

I'll be interested when a mini jog wheel thing that that replicates real scratching.
