Was the ex-Malmo coach Bob Houghton formerly with Brighton?

Wikipedia seems to suggest that he was, as well as our opponents tomorrow, Fulham, but I hadn't realised. Anyone here recall him with us from 1969 to 1970?

Don't recall him at all with the Albion and I rarely missed a game back then

Nah, don't think so. I was barely able to see over the East Terrace wall around that time, but not a name I remember. That was the era of Alex Dawson, Kit Napier, Brian Powney and all. Certainly not Bob Houghton though as I remember?

It is strange. He doesn't feature in any of the squad photos in Carder and Harris' books either.
