Was i the only one to hear ripples of Boos today?

I thought i heard a few south standers boo at the final whistle and i thought it was outrageous. The way i see it we drew against a top promotion chasing side and played with passion and commitment.

If we'd have had murray and Forster upfront today it would have been a different story oh and that wanker next to me who was viciously booing Davies off the pitch...:tosser: he ran his socks off all game!

I didnt hear any. People have meekly accepted our fate

shame there is not passion and fight on the field and in the stands

I heard a few boos around me at the final whistle, and i also disagree with the poor reception Bas recieved, how come everybody loved him when he played for us and now everybody abuses him?

Again it wasnt that many and just banter. Maybe people are annoyed he wanted more money than he was worth.

Didn't hear any boo's. Tranmere may be promotion chasing but they were lame today. As for Davies - he simply isn't up to it

The thing that struck me at the end today was a deafening silence. Normally this season we've had a lot of boos but also a lot of regulars who subside into clapping when the team come over. There were some clappers today, but the majority of people trudged off without any recognition (or at least, it seemed like they did), knowing that they had seen a fairly good performance but that it wasn't good enough to keep us up.

Oh what a difference a season makes...Tranmere have held their form from last season ( we finished 4 places above them ) and now a draw is a good result against them, as they are a top side.
They decided to stick with their manager..................................

Pretty much spot on. I did clap at the end because I thought it was a good performance (excellent one in Andrew Whing's case) but as you say probably too late in the day to save the season.

The one big potential positive is that we may be seeing the real Slade coming through and if so I would support him getting a contract for next season and an option to do what he feels best regarding the support staff.

Thought we had a fantastic first half yesterday, should've been 3 or 4 up at half time. Murray was excellent, chasing everything until he limped off, knackered and hopefully not injured again.

But the boys deserved pats on the back. Under normal circumstances, we'd have been chuffed with a point and an hour's good performance against a side in the play-offs. Sadly, yesterday, we came away gutted that it was two points lost. But I was buoyed by the performance. Still think we can pull this out of the bag, no matter how slim those chances are.

The only abuse I heard yesterday was aimed at Dean White. Shame the energy put into that wasn't put into supporting the lads :shootself
