Sanchez strikes me as the kind of bloke who needs an arm round his shoulder. I suspect RDZ put a rocket up his arse and the rest is history.

I thought Steele played well yesterday but he looks so unsure with the high ball I was thinking about Sanchez and his ability to take a cross and how we've never really had a keeper other than him who takes charge at crosses. Even Bart as good as he is. Typical Sanchez today though. Saves a worldie and lets in one he could save with his eyes shut.

He won't last at Chelsea. They haven't the patience for that kind of thing.

When he broke into the side he was able to dominate the box and kick/throw further than any other keeper I'd seen play for us before.

He fills the goal and made several incredible last ditch saves but was replaced because he wouldn't/couldn't play the passing game that RDZ wanted.

I think that period of brilliance coincided with matches being played behind closed doors.

Once crowds came back, he never seemed the same player. Which is probably why he looks amazing in training, and crap in actual games.

Never mind, not our problem now.

And whoever said he's suit a mid table La Liga side: you may be right, but unfortunately for him he's on a very decent contract which has seven years left on it, therefore few Spanish clubs would be able to afford him, and the ones that would, won't want him.

It'll end up being a question of which he'd prefer: regular first team football for the rest of his career or Premier League wages. He won't get both.

He's a great keeper, just 10 years too late for the Premier League. De Gea and Lloris were great keepers who got overtaken by tactics, and Sanchez is too late. I wonder if, when his weaknesses were highlighted here at the Albion, whether he could have used the fantastic team of coaches to focus on, and improve his weaknesses.

It's obvious from the past that swansman was bullied and therefore he's a bit sensitive to it and that's... fair enough, actually, and good for him too. I've joined in the pile-ons on Sanchez before because having been around him briefly in person i found him an utter bellend. I also love the panto of booing players in games sometimes (the comedy value not abuse).

Of course he will, you're absolutely deluded if you think people enjoy meeting and passing by hundreds of people every day who all think you're shit and should get the f*** out. And thats what happens to a scapegoat in a big club like Chelsea.

This one of the core issues of sport: the players are human, and fans think that humans are automatically always happy if they have money, because thats what the Hollywood brainwashing shit tells them. But there's plenty of depression and dark feelings within football.
