Adams was f***ing CLUELESS today. My biggest gripes being a) why play Virgo not only in midfield (which is tragic enough), but on the WING? f***ing ludicrous, b) why is the classy Lynch on loan at a team in a higher division, and we're lumbered with Donkey A and Donkey B at the back? c) Why bring wastes of space like El Abd and Fraser on, who promptly go missing, when the guys they replaced were superb and could easily have carried it on for 5 more minutes?

I've been asking myself those questions and I cant come up with an answer, I'd like to think Micky knew what he was doing but I've got my doubt's.

The problem is we are 3 points of the bottom and 12 points of the top. Having said that, today was by far the best home league performance all season and the game was good to watch for once.

It was a game we should have won as well.

I don't understand why people are talking about the table now, one caller on the phone-in said it's more of a relegation fight. Yes of course people keep an eye on it but it doesn't hold great importance just yet. It only takes a few wins in this league to be in or around the play-offs.

Uncle, has the fact that Murray scored a hat trick blinded you to the fact that we threw another two points away today?
Cheltenham are struggling and even down to ten men they were able to draw level, if you think this is satisfactory and not worth complaining about you are a member of a very small group.

I agree he is not a quitter but he would get back some lost respect back from me if he did leave or admit he was wrong to tinker with the management.

You're assuming that DK was the driving force behind the sacking of Wendy though, which is not necessarily the case.

Correct i am assuming that i know how he said the board agreed we should change the manager but it's my opinion that he was the instigator simple because that's how i now read the guy.

a) No idea, absolutely none.
b) Classy? Must be thinking of a different Lynch to the one we saw here last season. Agree about Hawkins but I may be missing something as I haven't seen much of him. Elphick is no donkey.
c) Savage hadn't played a full 90 minutes and was suffering from cramp. Can't speak for Thornton but I doubt he's played a full 90 minutes recently either. There would have been as much stick for Adams if an unfit player had been left on the pitch and we had conceded.

Wilkins was the man.

Knight has made a massive misjudgement i said it when he sacked Wilkins and i will say it again.

Thanks for saving the club Dick but you must let go now - you have slit your own throat on this one - what goes around comes around.

This is a point that is really starting to bug me!

Dean Wilkins did not lose his job because of our league position or results.

He lost his job due to the fact that he couldn't manage the players. He could coach very well, everyone knows that. But when it came to man management, it was a nightmare.

So stop going on about Dick Knight making a mistake in sacking Wilkins, as he had to go.

Seen elsewhere that Thornton was injured.

So Wilkins could not man manage because a couple of senior players not playing said so.

Do you know of any other chairmen that sack a Manager that served 20Years devotedly to there club and was progressing?

I don't care if Dean had to horse whip the players to get results as long as he got the results which he did he didn't deserve to go.

Perhaps it's time for DK to tell his side of the story. We've all heard rumours on here and DK has said his piece at the Fans Forum, but perhaps we all need specifics so we can all put this one to bed.

I think the specifics were around Hammond and the last transfer window.

I believe DW was in with the agent where as DK decided time to cash in.
