This guy is impotent to the point where you could probably label him a eunuch. Its not great when you're supposed to be the porn star that is the modern right back.

BUT, I've thought for years that this guy could be a top class central defender, because he's actually really good when he gets to focus on defending.

Would be happy if we signed him. I'm sure he'd take a wage cut if it means we save him from going home to Palace.

He's worth more than 10m even with only 1 year left on contract. I imagine that wages would be an issue given that there probably won't be a shortage of clubs preparing to pay that transfer fee.

No chance, if for no other reason than he'll be 27 in November so in the 'Bermuda Triangle' age bracket of Albion signings.

F***ing hell.

*season ends*

NSC agrees De Zerbi left the club because he wanted to change transfer policy away from youngsters to more established players and Bloom will never do that.

*a week and a bit passes*

NSC thinks we should sign Wan Bissaka.

:facepalm:

Surely the criteria is more that we should be looking for value than specific ages only. As someone has rightly pointed out, wages would be a potential stumbling block, and he's not the right age (or stature in the game) for a Lallana type deal.
Nonetheless, if the wages could be sorted out, Wan Bissaka for £10M would be good value. He's probably not on the highest wages at United - he signed for them five years ago, and if that was a five year deal (he agreed a one year extension in January this year) the wages were less batshit mental even five years ago than they are today - quite possibly "only" £80K to £100K* - in which case would a four year deal here at £50 or £60K a week might not look so unattractive against just one more year at £100K ...............maybe.
Probably won't happen anyway. Apart from anything else, it looks as if Inter Milan are in for him!

* purely a guess.

I mean, a lot of us sympathize with him even as we concede Bloom won't budge! The AWB thing is just a bit of wishful thinking.
