Incidenally, going all the way back to the beginning of this thread, there is this myth the Mussolini made the trains run on time. Fact is, he didn't. He made sure HIS train ran on time, but as for improving the Italian railway network's punctuality - simply not true.

I dont care, as long as MY train runs on time I'm not bothered. Maybe the Government will throw in a peerage as well if i give em enough money.

Two things. One, he may or may not have got some roads built, but they would have had the shit bombed out of them not long after. Two, they haven't been repaired or improved since. The roads in Italy are f***ing awful.

I'd be interested to know how BNP voters would react if they needed emergency life-saving surgery which could only be done by a Muslim, Sikh or Hindu surgeon.

The National Front used to claim that they would never be treated by ethnic doctors, but I have spent a couple of nights in casualty in my mis-spent youth and seen the Crawley skinheads quite happy to be stitched up by foreign doctors (but then equally as happy to abuse them once they have been repaired).

The BNP don't make a direct statement about foreign doctors, but they do imply through their "manifesto" (ie The Beano) that foreign blood is tainted, but then again so is gay blood, druggies blood, imported blood, racially contaminated blood, etc, etc. They also want to return all foreign doctors back to their country of origin, which would lead, I imagine, to a little backlog of cases for the pure white doctors to catch up with!

Even the Jehovah's Witnesses have the courage of their convictions when it comes to blood transfusions.

Every part of the BNP manifesto is rubbish, it's incoherent, and cannot possibly be balanced financially. But then again, they don't really expect their supporters to read it all the way through, do they?
